In 1989, she played Whitley in the TV movie ‘Kojak: Ariana.’ A year later, she starred in the television film ‘Thanksgiving Day.’

She played the lead in the horror film ‘The Devil’s Daughter,’ which was released in 1991. Curtis worked as an assistant producer on the romantic comedy ‘Singles’ the following year. The picture was a modest box office success, grossing more than $18 million on a $9 million budget.

Curtis appeared in the science-fiction drama series ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’ in 1993.
