Kelly Bensimon, a Real Housewives of New York City (RHONY) alum, is getting married again. She just announced her engagement to Scott Litner, her one-year boyfriend, on July 10, 2023. Kelly expressed her joy and offered her views on this new chapter in her life in an exclusive statement to E! News. She shouted loudly,
“I never thought I’d be this happy at this point in my life; this is truly a new beginning.”
Kelly and Scott’s love is reminiscent of a fairytale romance, as the RHONY alum says, and they’ve taken their relationship to the next level.

Kelly Bensimon maintained her year-long relationship with her new boyfriend Scott Litner discreetly, making just a few public appearances. However, as the developing relationship progresses, RHONY viewers should expect to see more of Kelly’s fiancé. Her boyfriend Scott’s proposal, which took place during the Fourth of July weekend, was a brilliantly staged surprise. Scott Litner found a special occasion to pop the question during a visit to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, one of Kelly’s favorite summer getaway places. He chose to propose on a romantic boat cruise, giving an intimate and gorgeous environment for this momentous occasion.
Scott used the boat excursion to gift Kelly with a beautiful handmade emerald-cut, five-carat diamond ring from NYC jeweler Material Good. Scott added a heartfelt touch to the proposal, making it even more meaningful. He took Kelly to a site she remembered from her youth, a place with wonderful recollections and profound emotional attachments. Kelly was profoundly impressed by this considerate gift, and she expressed her feelings to E! by saying,
“I was so moved that he brought me to a special place from my childhood to propose.”
Kelly Bensimon’s engagement was made public during the premiere party for Bravo’s Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake, when the couple made their first public appearance since the news. Several former RHONY co-stars attended the event at Ascent Lounge in New York City, including Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and Dorinda Medley. Kelly made a statement with a see-through fishnet dress over a black bikini.
Kelly Bensimon is getting married for the second time. She was formerly married to Gilles Bensimon, a prominent fashion photographer, with whom she had two children, Sea (25) and Teddy (23). Their marriage lasted from 1997 to 2006, and Kelly is currently seen starting a new marriage with Scott Litner. Kelly Bensimon has also made strides in her profession. She is now employed as a real estate agent at Douglas Elliman and plans to return to television. Kelly will appear in The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy, which will premiere on Peacock on July 16th.
