The West Indies emerged victorious in this match. On March 18, 2017, Paul made his Guyana national team debut in the 2016–17 Regional Four Day Competition. On August 5, E made his Guyana Amazon Warriors twenty20 debut in the 2017 Caribbean Premier League. Cricket West Indies selected Paul Emerging Cricketer of the Year in June of this year.
