Her father, Stephen Langford, is the director of medical services for the Royal Flying Doctor Service Western Operations, and her mother, Elizabeth Langford, is a pediatrician. Her younger sister, Josephine Langford, is an actress as well. Despite coming from a medical family, both sisters developed an interest in acting.
Langford was interested in music and began classical, jazz, and contemporary vocal training in 2005. In her senior year, she studied music and drama at Perth Modern School. She was also into sports and was a national-level swimmer as well as the school’s sports captain.
