Karla’s career started as a competitor on the French reality program Star Academy. She returned to Mexico at the age of 22 to continue her acting career in television and movies. She then made her acting debut in the Mexican television film Terminales (2008). The next year, she was cast in the Mexican television series Verano de Amor. She came to prominence in 2013 after appearing in the successful Mexican films Nosotros Los Nobles and Instructions Not Included.
