Sane made her WWE return in the WWE Women’s Championship match at Crown Jewel On Saturday. Returning as a heel, Sane teamed up with IYO SKY, supporting her in defeating Bianca Belair. While Belair was trying to pin Sky, Bayley jumped onto the apron to provide a diversion. Belair responded by going after Bayley outside the ring. Sky attempted to intercede, but Belair avoided her, forcing Sky to crash with Bayley unintentionally. Belair was about to administer a KOD to Bayley when Sane unexpectedly returned, saving her.
Sane blasted Belair with a back punch and then landed a knee blow into the barrier, sending Belair falling into the ring post. The referee was fixated on Sky and did not see Sane’s assault. This enabled Belair to re-enter the ring without being called out. However, SKY capitalized on the opportunity by doing a moonsault and pinned Belair to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.
