Joy Reid Biography
Joy Reid was born on December 8, 1968. Reid’s parents were immigrants, despite the fact that she was born in Brooklyn, New York. Her father is from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and her mother is Guyanese. Her father was rarely in the picture when she was a child. Moreover, her parents eventually divorced, and she, along with her brother and sister, was raised by her mother. Joy’s family of four lived in Denver, Colorado, until she was 17 years old.
