The Transformers star confirmed the news via an Instagram post on January 8, 2021, alongside a photo of the pair posing by the beach. Duhamel and Mari exchanged smiles as he put out a handwritten note reading, “Audra Diane Mari, Will You Marry Me?”

Duhamel’s connection with Mari first came to light in 2019 after they were caught out on a date in Malibu in May of that year. They appeared to confirm their romance five months later when they were spotted locking lips and hugging at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The movie actor seemed to have discovered his perfect woman in the beauty pageant titleholder. He earlier indicated that he desired to meet “someone young enough to bear children.” Duhamel is 21 years older than Mari, his future wife. However, this does not appear to be a problem for the couple.
