Uncoupled, Netflix’s newest rom-com drama, not only stars some known characters but also introduces fans to Geoffrey Owens’ son Jordyn Owens, who makes his series debut. Uncoupled, created by Darren Star and Jeffrey Richman, follows real estate agent Michael Lawson after he is rejected by his long-term partner. To move on with his life, he makes the most of his single status and returns to the New York City dating scene.
Trey will be played by Jordyn Owens in the forthcoming drama. Speaking about his debut on the Netflix series, the actor said that obtaining the job took him by surprise. He will appear with Tisha Campbell and Marcia Gay Harden. In a Page Six interview, Owens commented regarding the opportunity:
“It doesn’t get much better than this, especially for a debut project.”

Jordyn Owens, 23, is a Montclair native and the son of The Cosby Show’s Geoffrey Owens. He used to play guard for the University of Massachusetts Lowell. During the epidemic, Owens pursued an unexpected profession as a painter. He even appeared on the Today Show to talk about his artwork. He is also a model, having been shot by Bruce Weber.
Geoffrey Owens informed Page Six about his son’s acting abilities:
“It’s something I’ve seen throughout the years. I’ve been watching it for perhaps five or six years.”
“We’ve worked together a lot,” Geoffrey said of their numerous chats about the hazards of the acting industry. The 61-year-old actor graced the red carpet for the event earlier this week’s wife Jordyn. When asked about his experience, he stated:
“I’m overwhelmed with pride. I’m completely dumbfounded.”
Jordyn Owens went to Instagram after his red carpet debut to express his gratitude for the chance. He stated:

The series was initially announced in May 2021, and Neil Patrick Harris was cast in the starring role of Michael Lawson in August 2021.
