Jordin Sparks was born in Phoenix, Arizona on December 22, 1989, to Jodi and Phillippi Sparks. Her brother is an Arizona Christian University football player. Until 2006, she attended Northwest Community Christian School and then Sandra Day O’Connor High School. She was then homeschooled to concentrate on her singing.
