Jordan Smith Will Compete In The American Song Contest On NBC

Jordan Smith, the champion of the 2015 singing competition The Voice, is going to wow everyone with his voice once again at the American Song Contest, which begins on March 21, 2022, on NBC. Jordan Smith will represent Kentucky on the program, which will be hosted by Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson. The series finale will be shown on May 8, 2022.

Jordan Smith, who was born on November 4, 1993, in Whitley County, Kentucky, to musician parents, began his musical career by singing in his church choir. Throughout his academic degree at Lee University, he pursued his love by joining the university’s singing club. In 2012, he won the Poke Sallet Idol competition at the annual Poke Sallet Festival.

The singer then appeared on The Voice’s ninth season, captivating the judges and audience with songs such as Chandelier, Climb Every Mountain, and Mary, Did You Know? He received $100,000 as well as a recording deal with Republic Records. Smith’s musical career took off after this achievement. His song collection, The Voice: Jordan Smith: The Complete Season 9 Collection, debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 album rankings in December 2015. His tracks have even broken records on the Billboard Christian music charts.
