The political reporter and his wife, Betsy Woodruff, have a daughter named Esther Jane Swan. The couple announced the birth of their daughter on social media on September 9, 2020. Woodruff confirmed the newborn’s name and shared a gorgeous photo of her on Twitter. Fellow journalists Katy Tur, Kimberly Atkins, and Corey Yow were among the first to congratulate the new parents.
