Joe Rogan is in hot trouble after making anti-Semitic slurs on his famous podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. In a recent show with Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti, the presenter made a remark about how Jewish people aren’t interested in money and then called it “stupid.” He also made a snarky comparison to Italians not liking pizza, calling it “fu*king dumb.”
All of this follows Rogan’s comments on Rep. Ilhan Omar’s 2019 tweet claiming Israel’s supporters in the United States were motivated purely by money, in which he stated:
“It’s insane. Did you see him next to Ilhan Omar, who is apologizing for saying it’s all about the Benjamins? That is all about money. She’s discussing money. That is hardly an anti-Semitic remark, in my opinion. “Benjamins are currency.”
Following the announcement, Krystal Ball felt that Omar should have apologized for his post, adding:
“But can’t you speak about the power of money in DC? I mean, there’s a very apparent reason why there’s been a one-party agreement on the Israeli government for my whole life.”
The presenter and his guests’ statements did not sit well with netizens, who called them out online:
“This is inexcusable,” say netizens in response to Joe Rogan’s anti-Semitic remarks.
When podcast star Joe Rogan made some anti-Semitic statements on his program lately, he face the fire of online users. Many social media users called the event “indefensible” and responded to it on Twitter. Check out some of these tweets:
Are we surprised that #JoeRogan is propagating #antisemitic tropes? Not one bit.

.@joerogan saying “the idea that Jewish people are not into money is ridiculous. That’s like saying Italians aren’t into pizza” would make sense if Jews invented money and/or Italians had been massacred because of a conspiracy that they control the world through pizza. pic.twitter.com/odzZzFHIYG

At the present, neither Rogan nor any of his recent guests have commented on or apologized for the remarks made on the broadcast. Furthermore, the 55-year-old previously said a few episodes ago that he had long since quit “paying attention to the comments” that came in for his program, adding:
“Look, I adore you two. I simply can’t read your s***.”
While social media is already crowded with individuals demanding an apology from Joe Rogan and the guests, it is unclear whether the three will react to the outrage.
A quick look at Joe Rogan and his history with scandals.
This isn’t the first time Rogan has been into problems because of some of his publicly announced views; the podcaster has been involved in a number of issues over the course of his years-long career. Last year, during one of his podcast episodes, he repeatedly used the N-word, prompting widespread condemnation from celebrities and social media users. Finally, the 55-year-old podcaster apologized for his remarks. He did, however, argue that the clip was “taken out of context.” He was also in the headlines a while ago when it was claimed that Rogan was disseminating false information about COVID-19 and vaccinations. As a result, musicians such as Neil Young have removed their songs from Spotify.
