Jerod is presently the head coach of the New England Patriots in the National Football League (NFL). He was an assistant coach for the Patriots before becoming their head coach.

Jerod has a history with the Patriots. Mayo played collegiate football at the University of Tennessee before being drafted by the Patriots in 2008. He played with the Patriots for eight years. Deron Mayo, Jerod’s younger brother, was born on March 28, 1988, two years after Jerod. Like his brother, Deron sought a football career, first at Old Dominion University before signing as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos. Deron went from playing to teaching, and in 2018, he was named the New England Patriots’ assistant strength and conditioning coach. Deron did not have as much success in football as his brother, but he has succeeded in his profession.

Youngest Brother Derek Mayo Is the Manager

Derek, like his two older brothers, has always played football. He attended the University of Richmond and competed for the Richmond Spiders in the NCAA FCS National Championship game. He then picked a new career and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Richmond. During the same period, he graduated from the University of Richmond-Robins School of Business with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management.
