Jeremy Michael London was born in San Diego, California, on November 7, 1972, to Frank London and Debbie (née Osborn). His father worked in sheet metal, and his mother was a waitress. He spent the majority of his childhood in DeSoto, Texas.
When London was a child, his parents divorced, and he lived with his mother. Jason, his twin brother, is also a professional actor who chose a career in feature films.
