Michael and Victoria Bracco welcomed their son Jeremy Bracco on March 17, 1997, into the world in Freeport, NY. Jeremy was born and raised in New York and began playing ice hockey at the age of four. His father, Michael, was a goalkeeper at Dartmouth University and taught his children how to play the sport.
Bracco’s father acted as his coach for over six years. Although nothing is known about his siblings, Jeremy has said that both of his brothers played ice hockey. Similarly, his uncle, Jon, played goaltender for St. Lawrence University from 1993 to 1997.
