Jennifer Lopez, an American singer, looked lovely in her wedding gown at a short ceremony over the weekend in which she married fiancé Ben Affleck. On July 17, the 52-year-old actress revealed her secret marriage to the Argo actor on her official website, 17 years after they initially became engaged.
According to court records acquired by media site Today, the couple secured their marriage license from Nevada’s Clark County on July 16. The newlyweds donned outfits from their own closets for their beautiful wedding in Las Vegas, according to Lopez’s On the JLo newsletter.

According to her email, the On My Way singer donned two white outfits at the event. Jennifer Lopez wore a long white gown to her tiny wedding and was accessorized with earrings and a silver bracelet. The 52-year-old finished her bridal look with loose hair, smoky eyes, and bare skin.
She wrote about the dress:
“I’ve had this dress for years and years and years, and I’ve just been saving it, saving it, saving it, and now I’m wearing it on my wedding day.”
Chris Appleton, her D-Day hairdresser, also released a video on Instagram of the star’s final look before her wedding. Lopez then seemed to change into another Zuhair Murad wedding gown, this time a white lace off-the-shoulder gown with a sweetheart neckline and corset bodice. The actress finished off her ensemble with a similar lace veil. With smoky eyes, nude lips, her typical bronze glow, and curls, she kept her makeup sophisticated but easy.
Lopez wore this garment earlier in her love flick, Marry Me. Ben Affleck, on the other hand, dressed down in a cream-colored jacket over a white shirt and black bowtie. In her letter, Lopez stated:
“So we recited our own vows in the small chapel and gave one other the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives, with the finest witnesses you could possibly imagine, a dress from an old movie and a blazer from Ben’s wardrobe.”
He finished off the appearance with a white rose pinned to his jacket.
The pair first announced their engagement in 2003.
This is not the first time the couple has married. They initially made news of their love relationship in July 2002, when they crossed paths while filming Gigli. Within four months of dating, they were engaged. They did, however, end their romance in 2004. Lopez married Marc Anthony the next year, and their twins, Emme and Maximilian, were born in 2008. The couple divorced in 2014.
Meanwhile, Ben Affleck married Jennifer Garner in 2005. Violet (16), Seraphina (13), and Samuel are their three children (10). In 2018, the couple divorced. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married in April 2022, after sparking patch-up rumors in 2021.
