Jeffrey Reiner began his career as an editor in the 1980s before directing his debut film, Blood and Concrete. In addition, he edited the films Think Big, Cheerleader Camp, 3 Ninjas Kick Back, and BASEketball. In the 1990s, after establishing himself as a competent editor, he decided to try his hand at directing. Blood and Concrete was his directorial debut.
Following that, he directed Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Trouble Bound, The Sentinel, Haunted, The Division, Columbo, Surface, Caprica, and Friday Night Lights, as well as Trauma.
