Jason Ellis‘ professional skating career started when he came to the United States at the age of 17, and he finally reached professional status. He skateboarded professionally for over two decades until quitting in 2006. By leaping into a 70-foot skateboard ramp in 2001, he set the Guinness World Record for the largest drop on a skateboard.
The record stood until 2006 when it was broken by famous skateboarder Danny Way. In terms of his MMA career, he made his debut on February 6, 2009, against the popular fighter Tony Gianopulos, which he won through guillotine choke submission. In his second bout, he beat prominent boxer Gabe Rivas with an Americana submission.
He raced for Dethrone as a TV racer in the Lucas Oil SuperLite Series. On July 14, 2012, he participated in a boxing contest against Gabe Ruediger and won by KO.
