Prior to the official release of Jared Leto’s Morbius, the actor has been dogged by claims of text-messaging underage females. Simultaneously, the Thirty Seconds to Mars vocalist has been facing a lot of backlashes online as early Morbius reviews pour in. Several media have accused Leto of “predatory conduct” against minor females throughout the years. However, this should be taken with a grain of salt since claims of him sexually abusing youngsters come from dubious sources and have been floating about for almost two decades. Previously, Dylan Sprouse, star of Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and Marvel director James Gunn alluded to Leto’s weird conduct, notably messaging models online, in 2018.
Investigating allegations regarding Jared Leto’s reported habit of chasing young females
While reports of Jared Leto s*xually abusing minors and targeting teens had been shared by various lesser-known outlets, the essence of the situation was disclosed by former The New York Post writer Chris Wilson. The Blade Runner: 2049 actor was accused of “aggressively chasing underage models” in 2005.
According to The New York Post’s source and claims,
“He’s approached all the females and invited them to his gigs… He’s a habitual texter. He’s always messaging these 16 and 17-year-old females. It’s a little unsettling.”
Leto was apparently in New York at the time as part of a tour with his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars.
James Gunn and Dylan Sprouse made claims in 2018
Sprouse called out Jared Leto in a tweet in May 2018, alleging that the actor had “slid into the DMs of every female model aged 18-25.” In his purported talks, he allegedly inquired about Leto’s “success rate.” At the time, it was unclear why Sprouse may have implicated Leto. Sprouse’s tweet was later responded to by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, who stated,
“On the internet, he begins at 18?”
The message implied that Jared Leto had previously sought minor females. However, the filmmaker and screenwriter seem to have erased the message since Gunn’s previous p*dophilic comments on Twitter reappeared the following year. As a consequence, the filmmaker was dismissed by Marvel and went on to helm the sequel to WB’s Suicide Squad (2016). In the precursor to Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, Jared Leto portrays a controversial version of the Joker (2021).
Netizens’ recent comments on Leto’s suspected pursuit of young females
Following the awful early reviews of Leto’s most recent picture, Morbius, the actor’s previous claims were brought to light once again. Several tweets referenced Gunn’s allegedly deleted post in order to draw attention to the charges. Aside from these allegations, Leto’s Thirty Seconds to Mars acknowledged establishing a self-proclaimed “cult” on their own Croatian island.
He literally has a sex cult and is one more allegation away from a full cancel. Why any studio would cast this liability is beyond me pic.twitter.com/B86YEidkGG

I was a fan of his band back in the late 2000s and spent a fair amount of time on online forums. There were A LOT of stories about his behaviour with young fans, from inappropriate all the way to assault. Can’t say what’s true or not, but it was basically an open secret.
