Jana Kramer, an American singer-actor, has made her connection with football player Allan Russell public on social media. The 39-year-old posted a photo on her Instagram account of herself and Russell smiling as the latter holds Kramer. The caption that accompanied the post read:
“Back to the beginning… This is also so us… attempting to capture a photograph.”
Soon after the singer disclosed her relationship, the comment section of her post was filled with good wishes from her many pals. When Kramer was featured on the Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast earlier this month, she alluded to the couple’s connection.
Allan Russell is presently a football coach.
Russell (42), who was born in Glasgow, Scotland on December 13, 1980, is now a resident of England. He began his career with Hamilton Academical before moving on to St. Mirren and Macclesfield Town. He scored his first goal in 2007 while playing for Patrick Thistle and Airdrie during the 2007-08 season.
Russell signed a two-year contract with Kilmarnock in 2008 before joining the Carolina RailHawks, where he led them to two NASL league championships. He joined the Los Angeles Blues in 2011 and was the team’s captain at the time. In 2017, he joined the England coaching staff as the striker coach, and in 2021, he was named an assistant coach for Aberdeen. Russell and Steve Weaver joined Norwich City as co-head coaches after Dean Smith was fired as manager last year.
When Jana Kramer went on the podcast Whine Down with Jana Kramer on January 9, 2023, she had a surprise in store for everyone. She said that she is now in a relationship. Kramer went on to state that although she is unsure about her future with her boyfriend, she still wants to give love another opportunity. She went on to say:
“I’m going to accept it. I’m going to have a good time. And if it doesn’t work out, well, I’m going to learn a lot of things. And I had a great time doing it.”
Kramer and Russell apparently met on a dating platform, and the former was hesitant to date someone from another nation. She recalls being a Nashville resident and being the mother of two children added to her skepticism. However, she decided to strike up a conversation and see how things went.
Kramer’s name has been tied to a few notable faces in the past, beginning with her marriage to Michael Gambino in 2004 and divorce the following year. She later married actor Johnathon Schaech in July 2010, but the couple divorced the following year. In addition, the singer was briefly engaged to Brantley Gilbert in 2013 before marrying Mike Caussin in May 2015. They had two children in 2016 and 2018, however, they divorced in 2021. Kramer subsequently began dating fitness trainer Ian Schinelli in 2021, but the couple divorced last year.
