Warner confessed to The Times in January 2022 that it was “easy” for her to keep her family life regular. She was a homebody at heart, and her life had settled into a “nice pattern” that accommodated all of her and her husband’s jobs, their children’s schooling, and family time. “I feel like we’re fantastic at maintaining a sense of normalcy, and as long as we’re all together, it’s quite easy for us,” the singer told The New York Times (via The Belfast Telegraph). Despite the fact that she and Dornan had to travel often for their careers, they remained together by simply bringing their children with them.
For example, the family moved to Australia for five months when Dornan was shooting The Tourist there. They enrolled their children at a nearby school for the term. Similarly, the whole family was in Los Angeles at the time of the interview. However, since they were only going to be there for a short time, they homeschooled the children. “We’re accustomed to traveling,” she said to the newspaper. She did, however, anticipate that as the children grew older, the routine would be altered. In a similar vein, Warner said in July 2020 that the lockdown had been a welcome shift for her family. Dornan was at home most of the time during the closure, which she and the kids appreciated. Furthermore, while the children were small, the parents did not find homeschooling to be too difficult. According to Gloucestershire Live in February 2022, the pair also has a rule of not spending more than three weeks apart.
