James Brown was born on 3rd May 1933 as James Joseph Brown. In Barnwell, South Carolina, United States, he entered this world. Similarly, he was an American national and a Christian. Brown joined Byrd’s gospel group, The Gospel Starlighters. The band changed their name to The Famous Flames in 1958, and their debut album, ‘Please, Please, Please,’ was released.
