Jaidev Thackeray’s Age & Early Life
Jaidev Thackeray was born between 1955 and 1958. He was born in Mumbai, where his father dedicated his life to serving the people of Maharashtra. However, it is unknown where he received his education and graduation, but we believe that, like his brother Uddhav Thackeray, Jaidev attended Balmohan Vidyamandir and afterward graduated from Sir J.J Institute of Applied Art.

Balasaheb Thackeray left most of his estate to his son Uddhav Thackeray but left little to his estranged son Jaidev.
Bal Thackeray said in his will that all of his assets would go to Uddhav and another close family member. Jaidev’s son Aaishvary Thackeray was given the first floor of Bal Thackeray’s three-story “Matoshree” home in suburban Bandra. On December 13, 2011, Jaidev filed a lawsuit contesting Bal Thackeray’s will. However, Bala Saheb died in 2012. In 2013, Uddhav testified in court on his father’s will. Later that year, Jaidev dropped his complaint without providing a compelling explanation.
