Jack White

The musician proposed to Olivia Jean during a performance of The White Stripes’ 2001 song Hotel Yorba at Detroit’s Masonic Temple Theatre. White’s mother and Jean’s father were best men and maids of honor, respectively. Jack’s wedding follows a hectic day for him, which included releasing his new album and playing the National Anthem for the Detroit Tigers’ Opening Day at Comerica Park.

All About Jack White’s girlfriend

Olivia Jean, born on February 23, 1990, grew up influenced by the Detroit garage rock movement and began composing and recording songs. She obtained her first guitar at the age of seven and quickly started recording songs on other instruments. Jean was found by Jack White during a Dead Weather event in Detroit, Michigan. In 2009, she was invited to record at Third Man Records in Nashville, Tennessee.

She met Shelby Lynne and Ruby Rogers via White. This time they recorded some of Jean’s own tracks. They decided to form a band and call themselves The Black Belles. Jack eventually signed them to Third Man Records. Their self-titled album was out in October 2011. They had some touring success and went on hiatus in 2012. Olivia’s solo career began after The Black Belles’ breakthrough. Third Man Records released Bathtub Love Killings in 2014. The same label published her sophomore album, Night Owl, in August 2019. She’s worked with performers including Jack White, Karen Elson, and Wanda Jackson.

Timeline of Jack White and Olivia Jean

Jack and Olivia met when he introduced her to the Third Man Records studio in 2009. According to a source, he has altered his mind on love following two divorces in the previous two years. He said:

“The epidemic has given me a full rebirth on many dimensions. I promised myself that no matter how long it lasted, I would emerge out of it with a new perspective on life.”
