Isaac Bardavid, a 91-year-old Brazilian voice actor, died on February 1. He was best known for voicing Wolverine in the X-Men cartoon series and dubbing Hugh Jackman in the movies.
The late nonagenarian died of emphysema, for which he was admitted to a hospital in Rio de Janeiro. Shortness of breath and low oxygenation were symptoms of his lung condition.
His grandson, John, is said to have announced his death on social media. Hugh Jackman, who played Wolverine, expressed his condolences for the late actor on social media after his death was announced. The Australian actor also posted a video of the two of them together, reciting Wolverine’s line from the most recent X-Men film.
