The shocking incident occurred after the comedian made a derogatory remark about the Fresh Prince actor’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
“Jada, I love you,” he said, comparing her buzz cut to Jordan O’Neill from the 1977 film G.I. Jane. “I’m looking forward to G.I. Jane 2.” Last year, the actress revealed that she shaved her head due to her struggles with the hair-loss disease alopecia.

Insider Claims Will Smith Is In “High-End Retreat”
According to multiple sources, Will Smith has checked into a luxury rehab facility following his viral Oscars altercation. He has been admitted to a “high-end retreat” because “the impact of the backlash has hit him hard.”
“He’ll be getting stress management help… This is without a doubt the most important battle of his career,” the insider said before revealing:
“It’ll be a high-end retreat for the rich and famous, and he’ll be doing a lot of souls searching and figuring out how he can move forward.”
“He hopes the conversation moves on so he can return and salvage his reputation and career,” they added.
However, the actor has not responded to or confirmed the reports.

Will Smith Is Banned From The Oscars
Will Smith has been barred from attending the Oscars for the next ten years, the Academy announced this week. In a statement, the Academy Awards stated:
“The Board has decided that beginning April 8, 2022, Mr. Smith will be barred from attending any Academy events or programs, in person or virtually, including but not limited to the Academy Awards.” They condemned Will Smith’s behavior, claiming that the Oscars were “overshadowed by the unacceptable and harmful behavior we witnessed Mr. Smith exhibit on stage.”
“The action we are taking today in response to Will Smith’s behavior is a step toward a larger goal of protecting the safety of our performers and guests, as well as restoring trust in the Academy,” they added.

The Fresh Prince actor had already decided to resign from the Academy earlier this week.
“The list of those I have hurt is long, and it includes Chris, his family, many of my dear friends and loved ones, everyone in the audience, and global audiences at home,” he said.
Will went on, “I betrayed the Academy’s trust.” I denied other nominees and winners the opportunity to celebrate and be recognized for their outstanding work. “I’m brokenhearted.” He then stated that he “wants to put the focus back on those who deserve attention for their achievements,” and thus announced his resignation from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
“Change takes time, and I am committed to doing the work necessary to ensure that I never again allow violence to triumph over reason,” he said.
