Sarah Chalke is a Canadian actress and model best known for her role as Elliot Reid in the NBC/ABC comedy Scrubs. Chalke, on the other hand, has not allowed Reid’s shadow to follow her.
Following Scrubs, she has landed a number more gigs. She played Becky Conner on Roseanne, Stella Zinman on How I Met Your Mother, and Beth Smith on Rick and Morty, among other roles.
She also appeared in the ABC/TBS sitcom Cougar Town and the Netflix series Paradise PD in recurring roles. She has appeared in over 75 films and television series. It’s no wonder that she has a huge net worth given her track record. Chalke is worth $14 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. The Scrubs alum has a lovely family life, just like her acting career.
Is Sarah Chalke Married?
Many of Chalke’s admirers and followers question if she is married and has a husband. She is currently engaged to Jamie Afifi, a Canadian celebrity lawyer.
Afifi was born in the year 1973 and attended St. John’s Ravenscourt School in Canada. The University of Toronto then awarded him an LLB.
He moved to Los Angeles, California, to continue his career after that. Afifi worked as an entertainment associate at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP in Los Angeles from 2005 to 2008.
He joined Ziffren Brittenham LLP as an associate in June 2008 and became a partner in November 2012, following four and a half years as an associate. He currently represents Lake Bell and Brad Goreski, among others.
Since 2003, Chalke and Afifi have been together. Afifi startled his partner by popping the question after three years of dating, but Chalke said yes to the lawyer.
While on vacation in Hawaii, the two got engaged. The couple has been engaged for approximately 15 years as of 2021. They are both quite private about their personal lives.
Chalke also doesn’t post any images of them on social media. It is therefore for them to know, even if the couple has married discreetly.

Sarah Chalke’s Children
Chalke and her fiancé have two children together. On December 24, 2010, the couple welcomed their first child, Charlie. When Charlie was a year old, he was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease.
Kawasaki illness is a difficult-to-diagnose syndrome in children under the age of five that involves blood vessel inflammation. Afifi and Chalke kept their son’s illness hidden until the actress appeared on Grey’s Anatomy as a guest star.
Chalke played a single mother determined to understand the source of her son’s unusual illness in Season 9, Episode 19 of the episode titled ‘Can’t Fight This Feeling.’
Her character was inspired by her own personal experiences. In an interview with TVLine, Chalke later revealed her son’s health. She claimed Charlie had the disease’s symptoms but had been misdiagnosed several times.
Because the doctor was unable to diagnose their firstborn, Afifi and Chalke had a difficult time analyzing Charlie and locating a specialist. Fortunately, they were able to locate a professional and receive treatment in a timely manner.
According to the actress, a patient with Kawasaki disease must receive therapy within ten days, but Charlie received it in ten to twelve days. So, despite the fact that they were a little late in receiving treatment, Charlie recovered fully.
On April 28, 2016, Chalke and Afifi welcomed their second child, Frances. After the actress’s grandfather, they called their daughter Frankie.
