Amy Yang, a five-time LPGA champion, does not appear to have a husband and has yet to marry. The golfer, 34, hasn’t revealed much about her personal life to the public.
Amy Yang considered retiring at one time in her career and began fantasizing about life away from the golf course. She began the season with no sponsors on her hat.
Yang was diagnosed with tennis elbow two years ago, and questions about her future began to arise. She missed the last two seasons due to injuries. But she is currently playing some of the greatest golf of her career.
Yang’s most recent victory, on the CME Group Tour, is her first on American soil. Yang also received the $2 million prize money in addition to the trophy. Yang donned a plain white visor with a smiling face handstitched on it during the post-match interview.

Is LPGA Golfer Amy Yang Married Or Dating Anyone? Husband, Relationship
Amy Yang, a South Korean golfer, is not married and does not have a husband. But we believe this based on her few interviews and social media profile.
Amy, who was born and raised in Ilsan, Goyang, South Korea, has spoken about the burnout she had in the early stages of her career. She set unrealistic goals for herself and participated in far too many events. Amy also revealed in her interview with Golf Digest that she had never found an outlet other than golf in her early years. So, golf had absorbed Amy’s life from an early age. This could also be one of the reasons Amy did not marry.
Amy can be seen on Instagram spending out with her friends and usually sharing images from golf competitions. She has also revealed details about her life away from the golf course.
She tweeted a photo of herself donning the Korean national dress, Hankbok, while visiting her birthplace in 2019. Amy enjoys going to the climbing gym when she is not on the golf course. She earlier posted a video of herself working out at Blue Swan Boulders in Orlando.
Amy praised her friends, coaches, and caddie after her latest victory, but she didn’t mention her husband or partner. She earlier shared a couple of images with her brother, Heeil Yang, on her Instagram story.
Heeil, like his sister, is a golfer who has competed in a few tournaments. On his Instagram account, he has also posted a few videos of himself playing golf.
Meet Amy Yang Caddie: Jan P. Meierling
Jan P. Meierling, Amy Yang’s caddy, has been her usual caddy for many years. Meierling is from Dusseldorf, Germany, and spent a decade as a professional golfer before becoming a caddy.
Jan has posted several videos and photographs of him and Amy on the golf course to his Instagram. The majority of those posts feature a caustic caption or an amusing narrative about what happened before the shot.
Jan became interested in golf when he was 12 years old. When asked what drew him to the sport in an interview, Jan stated that he thought it unusual and that it was always played on a different surface than other sports.
He went on to say, “Every (golf) course has its own set of challenges and characteristics.” In 2017, Jan began caddying for the Ladies Professional Golf Association. He began caddying after becoming burned out from golf and unable to push his game to the next level.
The famed American golfer Michelle Wie was the first to request Jan’s services as a caddy. Jan didn’t see much of a difference in his competitiveness once he started caddying.
“You want your player to succeed.” “You go through the same emotions and everything,” Jan stated in a 2022 interview with the Midland Daily News.
