Before Jon’s comeback to the NFL
Jon was the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders from 1998 to 2001 before his return to the NFL. From 2002 until 2008, he was the head coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning. With Tampa Bay, he became one of the youngest head coaches to win the Super Bowl in Super Bowl XXXVII. He had a nine-year hiatus from coaching and served as an ESPN analyst until rejoining the Las Vegas Riders on January 6, 2006.
