On October 16, 2020, the comedian took questions from fans and discussed his thoughts on marriage in an episode of the How Neal Feal podcast on YouTube. “I just think it’s a bad institution [marriages], and it should go down with totalitarianism, fascism, and Mormonism in the dustbin of history,” he said. He also confirmed in the podcast that he was not married.
The 47-year-old comedian then laughed at a fan who asked him, “How are you not married?” Brennan didn’t even bother to respond. In another case, on May 20, 2018, Brennan took to Twitter to express his thoughts on marriage. “Marriage seems relentless,” he wrote in the tweet.

Brennan was born on October 19, 1973, in Villanova, Pennsylvania, a college town near Philadelphia. He is the youngest of his parents’ ten children and comes from an Irish Catholic family. He lived there until he was six years old. When he was about 8 or 9 years old, he realized he was funny and began writing comedy routines and performing them with his friends.
Brennan’s first job as a writer was in 1995 when he wrote for Jenny McCarthy and Chris Hardwick’s dating show Singled Out. In 1997, he co-wrote Half Baked with Chappelle, a commercial flop. However, they continued to collaborate and worked on Chappelle’s Show. The show debuted in January 2003, and as they say, the rest is history. Brennan is now one of the industry’s most well-known writers and comedians.
