Inside Fred Armisen And Natasha Lyonne’s Relationship History

Fred Armisen

Natasha Lyonne and Fred Armisen started dating in 2014 and were first seen together at several after-parties after the 66th Annual Emmy Awards. They were last spotted together at the Golden Globes in 2020. Lyonne revealed their breakup in April 2022 while discussing her Netflix series Russian Doll. When asked whether she lived in Los Angeles, she said,

“No, I’m not. I lived there with Fred [Armisen] and during COVID.”

She went on,

“I honestly believe we split up because I desired a swimming pool.” We love one other about as much as two people can love each other, and we’re still constantly chatting, but Freddy dislikes swimming pools. It may seem to be a little cause for a breakup, but during the epidemic, you have to get your laps in — I’m like Burt Lancaster in The Swimmer.”

The Scary Movie 2 actor also said that she had acquired a property in Los Angeles with a pool. She said,

“That is the true scandal.” “I think I’m finally a true bicoastal.”

Natasha reported in 2019 that Fred’s old Saturday Night Live co-star, Maya Rudolph, had introduced them. She said that Armisen and Rudolph paid a visit to her flat to discover her chain-smoking and wearing a silk robe and sunglasses.

Here’s what else she said:

“As we all know, I was traveling down a hard path. I took out a copy of [Leg McNeil’s] Please Kill Me, signed it, and said, ‘Welcome, youngster. What a name, Fred. Congratulations on your birthday. Have fun with the book.’ He’s still got it.”

Natasha Lyonne Invited Her Ex-Boyfriend To Appear On Saturday Night Live

On May 21, Natasha Lyonne hosted Saturday Night Live, and her ex-boyfriend Fred Armisen joined her on stage during her monologue. Lyonne said she and Armisen dated for seven years and were the only pair with an s*x video that no one wanted to purchase.

Armisen and other SNL alumni Maya Rudolph made a brief appearance as Lyonne discussed her lengthy relationship with SNL. She said,

“These are my real-life chosen family.” Since I was a teenager, I’ve been going here. Russian Doll was co-created by Amy Poehler and myself. And I’ve made some wonderful pals from the show.”

Natasha was impersonated by Armisen and Rudolph, who emphasized her voice and accent. Rudolph stated:

“We make great impressions of you, but not while you’re around.”

Armisen remarked, squinting his eyes.

“Ipso facto, congratulations.”

Rudolph went on to say,

“How are you doing?” That’s a fantastic sweater… c**k-a-roach.”
