Inside Amy Acker And James Carpinello Married Life

Amy Acker

The two are living proof that not every Hollywood romance is intended to end in a few years. The pair has been married for over two decades. The couple, who has two adolescents, seems to have passed on their performative DNA to their children as well.

Amy Acker and James Carpinello’s Marriage

It’s not too far-fetched to think that Acker and Carpinello met at one of their professions. After all, they’ve been in the entertainment business for more than two decades. Acker began her career in the film industry before her spouse; she made her debut in 1997, while he did not until 2000. However, he was already performing in the theater before his film career took off.

On April 23, 2003, the pair married in a magnificent “wine and flowers” ceremony at the Hans Fahden Vineyard in Napa Valley, California. Acker wore a Reva Mivasagar sheath gown on her wedding day. Her spouse opted for an Italian wedding look, wearing a black Armani suit with a white shirt and tie beneath.

Acker complemented her wedding looks with her grandmother’s jewelry, which also served as her “something borrowed.” This implies the pair have been dating for 19 years and will be married in August 2022. On April 25, 2022, Acker published a beautiful Instagram post on their 19th anniversary. She posted a grayscale photo from their wedding day of them going around hand in hand and commented, “@jimmycarp, happy anniversary! It’s hard to realize it’s been 19 years! I adore you!”

Children of Amy Acker and James Carpinello

On January 13, 2005, two years after their marriage, they had their first child, son Jackson James Carpinello. The next year, on September 1, 2006, they welcomed his sibling, daughter Ava Grace Carpinello. The adolescents have already shown an interest in the performing arts.

James, aged 17, has previously appeared in a short film with his parents, Creeper, which was released in 2022. According to his Instagram account, he will graduate from The Buckley School in California in 2023. Ava, on the other hand, discovered her early purpose in something Acker did as a child: dance. Acker studied dance for 13 years before pursuing acting, and Ava seems to have inherited her dancer DNA. She is a senior at LACHSA (Los Angeles County High School for the Arts) and will graduate in 2025. According to Acker’s website profile, she and her family divide their time between Los Angeles and New York, most likely due to Carpinello’s Broadway and theatrical connections.
