Bill Nye, the well-known scientific educator, television presenter, comedian, and mechanical engineer, is worth $8 million and is 66 years old. He has been a member of various prominent TV series and made countless appearances over his lengthy career in the entertainment industry. Nye is best known for presenting Bill Nye the Science Guy from 1993 to 1999 and Bill Nye Saves the World from 2017 to 2018 on the renowned streaming platform Netflix.
His career as an American mechanical engineer started immediately after graduating from Cornell University in 1977 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He began his career as a mechanical engineer at the Boeing Corporation in Seattle, Washington, where he went on to create a hydraulic resonance suppressor tube that has been used on a total of 747 aircraft. He started his humor and entertainment career on the TV program Almost Live! before getting his own scientific adventure show.
