Amanda Seyfried recently responded to a year-old snapshot of herself, a souvenir from her first red carpet appearance. The Dropout actor recalls her $600 costume at the Mean Girls premiere in 2004. The American actress’s comments were captured on the Jimmy Kimmel Live program when she arrived to promote her forthcoming film The Dropout. When Amanda was shown images of her ensembles from the Hollywood and New York premiere on the program, she opened up and said:
“I didn’t even have a hairdresser!”
She said about the outfit she wore to the Mean Girls premiere:
“That dress cost me $600. No, I’m not joking. I couldn’t even buy a ride home. She didn’t have a PR at the time. I didn’t have a personal stylist. I applied my own makeup.”
