Everything You Need to Know About Hocus Pocus 2
Hocus Pocus 2 will be available on Disney Plus on September 30, 2022. According to the film’s IMDb synopsis:
Three young ladies unintentionally summon the Sanderson Sisters back to modern-day Salem, where they must find out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking havoc on the globe.
On September 10, 2022, the trailer for Hocus Pocus 2 emerged, hinting at the journey that three friends would go on. On Winifred’s 16th birthday in 1693, the Mother Witch (Hannah Waddingham) bestows the spellbook-with-one-eye with her. The scene then flashed forward 370 years later, when wannabe witch Becca and her companion Izzy accidentally summoned the Sanderson sisters after igniting the Black Flame Candle. According to the narrative described in the prequel film, the candle connected with magical aspects was claimed to resuscitate the sisters.
Winifred Sanderson appeared on the TV after the candle-lighting ritual and remarked, “Put your children in a room. Yes, Salem, we’ve returned.” “If we want to survive until dawn, we have to take their souls,” she continued, catching Becca and Izzy between them.
Winifred was mentioned in the prequel when she disclosed that the ritual that revived them only worked on Halloween. They must absorb the soul of at least one kid if they wish to survive beyond daylight. They will be converted to dust otherwise. The witches and the teens determined to stop them started a cat-and-mouse pursuit. The teaser finished with the arrival of Billy Butcherson, Winifred’s unfaithful boyfriend who has been changed into a zombie but, in his words, a “nice zombie.”
