Hines Ward began his career as a wide receiver for the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Ward set numerous records during his college career. With 149 receptions for 1965 yards, he ranks second in team history. During his time at Georgia, he completed 31 of 59 passes for 413 yards. Ward discovered that he had a missing ACL as a result of an accident he had in fourth grade.
