They also worked together on the AFI award-winning Apple production Severance and the drama series Escape at Dannemora. Another creative reunion would be that of High Desert executive producers and filmmakers Ben Stiller and Jay Roach. Previously, the two collaborated on the comedic trilogy Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, and Little Fockers.
The show is directed by Jay Roach, but it was previously reported that Ben Stiller would direct the first episode. Nancy Fichman, Katie Ford, and Jennifer Hoppe-House conceived the program, which Patricia Arquette will star in and executive produce with Ben Stiller.
