Hannah Hidalgo, a Notre Dame basketball player, was exposed to the sport at an early age by her parents. Growing up in a basketball-obsessed household, Hidalgo acquired a natural love and skill for the game. Hannah Hidalgo’s Parents: Father Orlando and Tamara
Hannah Hidalgo, Orlando and Tamara’s third child, grew raised in a basketball-loving household. Her parents, both former basketball players, exposed her to the sport at an early age, and the family developed a deep bond with the game. Orlando, her father, was a key figure in her basketball career, mentoring her from a young age. He presently works as the head coach at Life Center Academy in Burlington.
Hannah’s mother, Tamara, is an avid social media user, often giving updates on her daughter and boys’ successes. The family presently lives in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Tamara attended Life Center Academy before enrolling at Thomas Edison State University.
Her Parents Are Her Biggest Supporters
Hannah Hidalgo’s parents, like any parents, are her strongest supporters. Despite her hectic schedule, her mother always makes time to celebrate her daughter’s accomplishments. She regularly discusses Hannah’s life experiences. Similarly, her father is a great supporter. During an interview, Orlando proudly remembered recognizing his daughter’s exceptional potential at the age of six, when she competed in a boys’ league and won the coveted MVP championship.
Hannah continued to compete against guys until middle school and was an enthusiastic participant in the Philly Triple Threat grassroots program. Her youngest brother, Judah, who is two years Hannah’s junior, also plays basketball and grew up fighting against his elder sister. He got his first MVP award when he was only seven years old. Hannah has two elder brothers who were also involved in basketball.
