Glenn Danzig was born in 1955 to a World War II veteran father and a sales clerk mother in Lodi, New Jersey, in the United States. His father worked as a TV repairman after the war after he returned from his duty in Korea. Following another child, Glenn was the third child to be born to his parents. He lived in Revere, Massachusetts, for a while. He began listening to rock music while residing in this region of the nation.
