George Harrison Biography
George Harrison was born on February 25, 1943, and died on November 29, 2001. Harrison was born in the English city of Liverpool in 1943 and died in the American city of Los Angeles. Twelve Arnold Grove is where he was born. He was the youngest of four children.
His father’s name was Harold Hargreaves, also known as Hargrove, and his mother’s name was Louse. George lost his father in 1978, and his mother left the World in 1970. Harold had worked as a bus driver and even as a ship’s steward for White Star Line.
George was the fourth child in a family of four. His firstborn sister was born in 1931, and his two brothers, Harold and Peter, in 1934 and 1940, respectively.
George was five years old when he started at Dove Dale Primary School in 1948. Here, he took eleven plus exams and did very well, earning himself a place at Liverpool Institute. Boys-only high school. Between 1954 and 1959, he attended high school. The institute placed no emphasis on music, but Harrison wished for guitars and was thus dissatisfied.
Harrison’s role models at first included George Formby and Cab Calloway, as well as Reinhardt Django and Hoagy, but by 1950, Lonnie Donegan and Carl Perkins had emerged, who influenced Harrison’s career. Together with George, his brother Peter and friend Arthur Kelly formed the Rebels.

Career
George Harrison joined the Beatles, walking alongside John Lennon and Paul McCartney in the Quarry Men subgroup. McCartney introduced George to the group. Harrison debuted for Quarrymen at Rory Storms in March 1958, where George was discovered to be the best. He was too young to join the band because he was only in his early twenties.
Harrison continued to perform locally until 1966 when the group organized a music tour to Scotland, and Allan Williams prepared the band, which became known as the Beatles. This band has performed in public places such as India, Hamburg, and Kristen Kaiser Keller. In 1968 and 1969, he released the albums Wonderwall Music and Electronic Sound.
Harrison released three albums in the 1970s: Living in the Material World, Thirty-Three and 113, and Extra Texture. Cloud Nine, Brainwashed, somewhere in England, and Gone Troppo are among the others.
