He joined the alternative rock band ‘My Chemical Romance’ in 2001 as a co-guitarist. Lead singer Gerard Way, co-guitarist Ray Toro, and bassist Mikey Way were also members. ‘My Chemical Romance’ released their first album, ‘I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love’ on July 23, 2002.
