Flora Duffy is a Bermudian triathlete who won Bermuda’s first gold medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. It was not just Duffy’s first Olympic medal but also Bermuda’s first gold medal. She began racing in triathlon when she was seven years old and has since been crowned ITU World Champion twice, represented Bermuda at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games, and won gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
