Felicia Taylor, a former CNN anchor, was recently detained in Palm Beach for an alleged hit-and-run. According to Palm Beach Police, she was charged on July 28 for allegedly striking another automobile, injuring the driver, then fleeing the scene of the accident while driving her vehicle. Although the retired journalist apparently rejected the claims, official records indicated that Taylor collided with another car during a traffic check. Page Six acquired the following statement:
“The white Mercedes struck his car from behind.” The collision forced [him] to smash the steering wheel, resulting in many injuries.”

Taylor was reportedly spotted leaving the event in her Mercedes after the collision “without administering help or pausing to offer information,” according to the report. According to authorities, she was spotted driving by the collision scene twice without stopping. Taylor reportedly “wanted the other driver’s injuries to be proven” and said that she did not stop at the site of the incident because she did not realize “there was anything to be worried about.”
Shortly after the incident, Taylor was pulled over by an officer, who said that Taylor admitted her role in the mishap and stated that “the other driver was ‘fine.'” The officer also said that the former anchor wanted to return home and that the collision was “not a big issue.”
The officer went on to say:
“Prior to the accident, Taylor reported she was at a restaurant on Worth Avenue and then at a restaurant at the Royal Poinciana Plaza.” We couldn’t find a restaurant that had Taylor as a guest.”
She reportedly said that she was leaving The Colony Property but did not reply when authorities informed her that the hotel was closed. Taylor also said that she was not driving while intoxicated and did not use any prescription medicines. The officer stated that he smelled no alcohol on the former anchor. According to Page Six, the wounded driver from the other car suffered from jaw, head, neck, and back discomfort and was treated at the site by medical personnel. Meanwhile, Felicia Taylor was examined by a doctor and confirmed to be unhurt.

Taylor was arrested at the Palm Beach County Jail and charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene of an injury accident. She was subsequently freed on $3,000 bond after pleading not guilty to the allegations. Taylor’s automobile was also reportedly hauled away by police, and a bottle of white wine was discovered inside. According to reports, the bottle was “three-quarters full” and arrived with a “silver thermos” containing an “unknown alcoholic beverage,” which was also “three-quarters full.”
According to officials, both drinks were put beneath the passenger seat, “out of reach of the driver.” Felicia Taylor is a former American anchor and World Business Today reporter for CNN International. On August 28, 1964, she was born to famed actor Rod Taylor and his second wife, fashion model Mary Hilem. Taylor was adopted by her mother’s second husband, Arthur Rubloff, after her parents divorced.
