The battle between the Upper Rank Six siblings and the Demon Slayers intensifies as the second season of Demon Slayer draws to a close. As Zenitsu reached out to Tanjiro, he was poisoned and fell to the ground as Uzui’s death was confirmed.
In light of this season’s pacing, either episode 17 or the first half of episode 18 will conclude the Entertainment District arc, thus bringing the series to a close.
Spoilers for the manga series “Demon Slayer” follow.
The runtime of Episode 18 of Season 2 of Demon Slayer has been announced by Fuji TV.
According to Fuji TV’s schedule released on February 13, 2022, Episode 18 will be 45 minutes long instead of the usual 30 minutes.
Considering that the average length of an anime episode is 22 minutes, we can expect at least an additional 10 minutes of content in this final episode.
Predictions for the upcoming television show
A preview of the next arc has been predicted by the majority of the manga’s fans as the most likely additional scene to be shown. During the manga’s Entertainment Arc, the Upper Rank Six siblings’ past is shown, revealing the injustice and tragic end they faced as humans.
As a result of his injuries, Uzui decides to retire with his wife. It is only when Muzan summons Akaza to the Infinity Castle that Akaza is made aware that an upper-rank demon has been wiped out.
Manga fans want to see Chapter 98 animated so they can see the other Upper Rank demons, which is what they’re hoping for. Since Yorichii, an Upper Rank One demon, has already been introduced in the anime, viewers are especially eager to see Kokushibo.
This season’s episode 17 of Demon Slayer is scheduled for February 6, 2022. The episode, titled “Never Give Up,” will feature the final battle between Gyutaro and Daki, as well as Tanjiro awakening his Demon Slayer mark.
When it comes to following the manga’s chronology, it’s possible that the saving of Uzui and Inosuke by Nezuko will be shown in the same episode as the final episode featuring the Upper Rank Six siblings.
