Evander Frank Kane, better known as Evander Kane, is a professional ice hockey player from Canada. He is an NHL left-winger for the San Jose Sharks. In the first round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, he was chosen by the Atlanta Thrashers. In 2007, he won the Memorial Cup with the Vancouver Giants of the WHL.
On the international stage, he led Team Canada to gold medals at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in 2008 and the World Junior Championships in 2009. He also competed for Team Canada in the IIHF World Championships in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014.
