A few months after divorcing Berry, he recorded his third studio album, Hurricane, in June of that year.
That album, he said, brought him back to the emotional state he was in at the time. He hadn’t listened to his third record in over a decade, which is understandable.

Because of their divorces, Benet and Testolini were able to relate to each other on a deeper level. While Benet was coping with Berry’s death, Testolini was coping with her recent divorce from Prince. It was only after confronting the “desire” head-on that the relationship gained clarity.
“‘We’re both pretty confident people, so I never felt intimidated by a former relationship,’ Benet said. She seemed to share my sentiments.”( Since then, Lucia Bella and Amoura Luna, both girls, have been born to the couple.

Benet was left to care for a 16-month-old daughter after Stauff, who was 24 at the time, died in a car accident.
