On December 8, 2021, Elisha Cuthbert disclosed she was pregnant with her husband Dion Phaneuf’s kid during an edition of the Queerified with Gigi Gorgeous & Mimi podcast. The Ranch actress said she was a little more than seven months pregnant at the time of the podcast, which means she will be in her eighth month of pregnancy in January 2022. “However, I’m starting to feel it now.” “It’s those final few months that are very difficult, particularly when you’re little like me, you’re so [dizzy],” the actress remarked, revealing she was a few months away from giving birth. Cuthbert went on to say that she had stopped wearing heels because the weight of her increasing baby bulge made it difficult to move around in them. “[Without the heels], I feel like…ancient, old pregnant woman,” she joked.

During the chat, the actress said that she and her former professional ice hockey player husband, Phaneuf, discovered they were pregnant during the epidemic. She claimed she was happy to get pregnant at the end of the epidemic because she thought she would have suffocated if she had to stay at home for weeks throughout the pregnancy. Even though it is still dangerous to go about regularly, she believes now is a better time to have a baby than the beginning of the epidemic.
