Dylan Neal has appeared in several films, including Fifty Shades of Grey (2015), Fifty Shades Freed (2018), and Cedar Cove (2013-2015).
And Neal isn’t the only one in his family who works in the shoe industry. Becky Southwell, his wife of over 25 years, is a writer who, along with her husband, has produced many productions through their Southwell Neal Entertainment.
Aside from co-creating and producing several series, the actor and his wife have also started a family. The couple has two children, a son, and a daughter. Despite appearing in approximately 100 films and television episodes, Neal claims that his children have not seen any of his work.
During an interview with X Appeal, Neal claimed that his children knew about his career as an actor and television producer. However, he also stated that they were not paying attention to his actions.
“They don’t watch me because a lot of what I do is perhaps unsuitable for them,” he explained.
“Even on Hallmark, a family-friendly channel, I’m usually emotionally associated with someone – so seeing dad kissing another lady who isn’t a mom on TV is a little uncomfortable.”

Even though Neal has been in the entertainment industry for over 30 years, he has divulged nothing about his personal life. After five years together, Neal married his wife on September 21, 1996.
In September 2016, the actor celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on Instagram. Neal posted a snapshot of himself and his wife duplicating a photograph they took 25 years ago.
“I married this lovely and wonderful woman who also happened to be my best friend 20 years ago today,” he wrote in the post.
“We started dating 25 years ago, and it’s been a wild ride.” Two nations and two children later, I can’t wait to see what’s next with this woman by my side.”
When asked about the secret to their happy marriage, Neal revealed that it was marrying his “best buddy.”
Knowing your partner’s underlying values and aspirations, and having them a line with your own, was another item he stressed. He pointed out that you had to leap of faith with your partner while still being aware that marriage is difficult.
“There will be many ups and downs,” he said. “And as long as you understand that you’ll have to fight your way through it to get out the other side, you’ll be fine.”
Neal and his wife are the parents of two children. However, the star has not shared much about his children. He stated that his son was not interested in following in his father’s footsteps. He also revealed that his daughter enjoyed the spotlight but was highly bashful.
She was taking dance classes and wanted to pursue acting classes as well. Neal stated that it was still up in the air regarding being an actress.
