Following Monday, CBS will premiere a new season of Survivor. It will include 18 participants, including Drea Wheeler, a fitness coach from Montreal, Quebec. The 35-year-old has been a competitive athlete her whole life, achieving several milestones. One of her most notable achievements was being named All-American Track Runner and State Champion in Virginia, where she relocated while in high school. Wheeler said in an Instagram post that she had always run track and hoped to make Team Canada for the Olympics in London. Later, she pursued her love and started her profession as a track coach.
Wheeler is a famous fitness counselor and the creator of many sports and fitness websites, including Afterglow, DreaApproved, and DreaWheeler. In her CBS profile, Wheeler remarked about her accomplishments:
“If you are or have previously been a competitive athlete, you understand the passion, effort, sweat, and tears required to achieve.” When I doubt my capacity to make things happen, I recall the girl who ran track and realize I was, and still am, that person!”
Drea Wheeler is terrified of death.
In her CBS profile, Wheeler mentions several personal details about herself. She said that she was terrified of death. It does not, however, paralyze her. According to her bio:
“I am terrified of death.” I seem to be incredibly confident and powerful, which I am, but deep down, I am terrified of the end. I believe it arises from the loss of several extremely key persons in my life when I was young. This dread, however, does not paralyze me; rather, it gives me the perspective to live each day to the utmost.”
She also sees herself as an ambitious, resilient, and kind individual who enjoys any charitable activity. Her biggest complaint is “dishonest people,” Her idol is Wheeler’s mother, who raised five children after her father died. She feels she can be the next season’s Sole Survivor since she has the physical strength and manipulating abilities to make it to the final. Wheeler is married to Mensah Iruoje, a commercial pilot and personal trainer for the contestant’s firm.
When will the premiere of Survivor 42 take place?
Season 42 will debut on CBS and Paramount Plus on Wednesday, March 9, at 8 p.m. ET. The competition series winner will get a million dollars in cash and the title of Sole Survivor. Drea Wheeler, Marya Sherron, Swati Goel, Jenny Kim, Maryanne Oketch, Daniel Strunk, Chanelle Howell, Jonathan Young, Romeo Escobar, Jackson Fox, Lindsay Dolashewich, Omar Zaheer, Hai Giang, Mike Turner, Tori Meehan, Rocksroy Bailey, Lydia Meredith, and Zach Wurtenberger are among the new castaways on Survivor 42. Erika Casupanan won the previous season.
